EEPC India, which is the largest Trade and Investment Promotion organization under the Department of Commerce, Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has been entrusted with the responsibility to promote exports of engineering goods from the country. The Council has been undertaking various promotional and policy related activities since its inception in 1955, when India’s exports of engineering goods was a mere USD 10 million

Strategy Paper for Growth of Engineering Exports (2010 - 2014)

To chart out a strategic vision and growth path for India’s engineering exports for the period 2010-2014, EEPC India, therefore, requested Ernst & Young for developing a strategy paper for growth of engineering exports from India.
 
The Strategy Paper was formally released by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industries, Shri Anand Sharma on 27th April 2010 at New Delhi.

Strategy Paper to increase exports of Auto and Auto Components through SEZs (2010 - 2014)

Ernst & Young was commissioned to develop a strategy paper to chart out a growth path for automotive exports from India for the period 2010-2014 and to identify initiatives that have to be undertaken by the government, EEPC INDIA and the automotive exporters to achieve the desired growth.
 
The Strategy Paper was formally released by the Hon’ble Commerce Secretary of India, Dr. Rahul Khullar on 28th April 2010 at New Delhi.

Strategy Paper for Growth of Engineering Exports (2005-06 to 2009-10)

Considering India’s growing competitiveness in the manufacturing sector and healthy growth in exports of Indian engineering products, EEPC appointed M/s A. F. Ferguson & Co., a leading management consultancy firm, for developing a strategy paper for growth of engineering exports from India

The Strategy Paper was formally released by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industries, Shri Kamal Nath on 10th August 2005.

The Strategy Paper recommends a focused approach in terms of identified thrust products and thrust markets based on India’s competitiveness, market features, trade block & associated features, strategic advantages, supply capacity, etc.
